Share the Care is a project created by Stephanie Wojtasik and Jake Smith in an effort to provide monetary assistance and needed food donations to the Geauga County Humane Societies "Rescue Village"

Rescue Village is a non-euthanizing facility. This means that animals accepted there are cared for until they are adopted. Other facilities keep their animals for only a certain amount of time and if they are not adopted the animals are destroyed.

We believe in the efforts of Rescue Village and wanted to help them. We created and then sold "Share the Care" ribbons and were able to raise over $100.00 in cash. This money was then used to purchase food, bedding and other materials for the shelter. The items were purchased at Pet Supplies Plus in Mentor who matched our donations one hundred percent.
